Over the past decade, the Shimmer3 platform has powered thousands of research studies and supported commercial applications across clinical assessment, rehabilitation, neuroscience, market research, stress management, and sports performance. The new Shimmer3R builds on this strong foundation with powerful updates designed to meet evolving research and development needs.

Availability and Roadmap
Shimmer3R is now available for purchase via the Shimmer website. The initial release supports GSR+, EMG, ECG, and Ebio sensors. Future revisions will expand compatibility to include the High-G IMU, Bridge Amplifier+, and PROTO3 Deluxe modules in the coming months.
